Hello Carl,

The "City and Urban Textures Vol. 1" CD for me was a fantastic buy for many reasons. Not only did the CD contain high quality seamless photos but the price was lower than similar texture CDs I've seen! I have tested them with all types of scenes. Anything from a Cityscape to industrial scenes and I've even tested them in some space scenarios. One of the key elements to the CD itself is the graphical browser which helped me quickly browse the textures without having to open each and everyone of them up. Last but not least, the customer service and shipping was top notch and considering that this was my first online purchase, it meant a lot to me that everything went smoothly and the delivery was on time. I would definitely say that who ever is interested in modeling and texturing should add this CD to their collection. Thanks so much and I'll be looking forward to your next CD!

Carl has been repairing/and or helping me with my computer problems for a few years now. I work at home so I need it to be in great working condition at all times.

Without Carl I probably would not have a job.

Anytime I called Carl day or night he was there to help me on the phone or came right over to take care of things with this computer.

He is always there and knows what he is doing. I will always have him for my computer needs.

I hired Carl to teach me how to use Photoshop and I was very impressed with his knowledge and grasp of the complex and vast amount of information needed to understand this program. He is also very patient and tailors his lessons toward what you, the student, wants (and are able) to learn. He sent me outlines of what we had gone over, and made me CDs of some examples of techniques we had learned. He is also an accomplished and very creative artist himself, and this came through in his teaching. And i thought the price was very reasonable. I would definitely hire him again.

Thanks, Carl

They really loved the portrait you painted of Simba. Thank you for making her birthday great.

Thank you so much for sending along the samples of your hand-painted digital portraits. I appreciate your clarification of the non-artistic methods (filters) most people use vs. the actual hand-painted approach you use. Although your letter made that more evident, the picture of the original vs. final Calvin spoke volumes. WOW! The first thing I noticed was the improvement in the color. On closer inspection, I began to notice the more subtle changes in composition. I love the way you blurred the door in the background. On the improved version, the door continues on the left side of the portrait. Did you create that artistically? It seems like a very advanced form of some type of cloning technique.

When I viewed your other work, I was most impressed with your ability to capture textures. Fur and feathers both are just begging to be touched, they look that real. The biggest surprise was your skill with human portraits. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, but somehow I never thought of you selecting humans as your subjects. The work in progress, as you call it, looks spectacular to me. Every one of these is a treasure. I remember you telling me that you were researching the plumage on parrots a while ago. Was that for the portrait of Spirit? That head is riveting. I am running out of superlatives. Suffice it to say, I love your work.

thank you SO much!

I am on your awsome website but Ican see the pics enlarged in the digital 2d site, I think your site is very inspirational because, I am currently running a Rottweiler rescue orginization and Ihave been taking pics of the dogs for web use. I too noticed it takes a certain perfection of picture taking process, I love using photoshop to help relax when I have free time. I have been trying to find a place that would help me become better at the kind of graphics I like to make and you have top quality digital art.

Just wanted to express my gratitude!

Where would I be without Carl? It’s frightening to think about! Most likely, I would be disconnected from my friends and family, uninformed about world events, and unable to purchase goods and services in an efficient way. Let me take a moment to introduce myself and explain.

I am Maureen R. and I recently retired as a partner in a management consulting firm. For me, the most frightening aspect of retirement was the prospect of losing all the fine support I was receiving from the Information Technology group in our local Boston office. Believe me, I am a person who desperately needed this kind of support! Although I am reasonably competent in most areas of daily living, I have a longstanding adversarial relationship with electronic equipment.

Right after my retirement, I realized I needed to set up a computer system at home. The whole process paralyzed me with fear. I had no idea how or where to begin. The seemingly infinite array of hardware and software products was mind-boggling.

That’s when Carl came to my rescue. He assessed my technology needs, recommended the most cost-effective products available, took charge of purchasing and testing these products, and came to my home to install them. He also trained me on the use of a multitude of tools and has been available for telephone and in-person consultations.

For many reasons, Carl is a lifesaver for people like me who are intimidated by technology. First, he really knows his stuff. He has a passion for technology and stays abreast of all the latest developments. In addition, he possesses a rare ability to communicate effectively to those of us who do not have strong technology backgrounds. He is able to explain even difficult problems in clear, understandable ways. Finally, Carl takes total responsibility for the satisfaction of his clients. He will not only make sure your system is working properly, but will also take the time to ensure you are comfortable using it.

Carl is a phenomenal resource for anyone with technology needs, from beginners to more advanced users. Having worked in the past with numerous technology support staff, I believe Carl has no peers. If I had known sooner how Carl could help, I would have retired a few years earlier!
